Challenge & Target: In a very junior team in a highly dynamic and volatile market new structures and responsibilities should be implemented as well as a common knowledge base regarding critical success factors of the market should be built.
Approach & Result: Before conducting the two days workshop prep calls with all team members were done to identify personal strengths and development potential as well as improvement potential for the team structure and processes from the perspective of the people involved. During the workshop different interactive training sessions were integrated to convey knowledge and impulses regarding agreed upon core competencies and cooperatively identify solution concepts for establishing new approaches in the team. Colleagues from other country teams were invited to specific session for experience exchange. During workshop sessions concrete solutions were developed and responsibilities for the implementation defined. By observing the participants during training and workshop sessions and intermittent consultation with the team lead optimal roles and responsibilities for the team members were identified and introduced and discussed during the final working session. Adjustments were made in a discussion with the team lead and implementation of the new team structure was planned. Photo protocol of the results, target agreements, responsibilities and timelines was shared with the participants to ensure transfer.
