During my workshop moderations it is very important for me to activate people and empower them together to get a step ahead towards their targets. Sometimes I need to provoke to uncover hidden resistances and get everybody into a motivated working atmosphere, sometimes conflicts need to be openly addressed to be eliminated. The target is always to shape changes cooperatively and implement solutions sustainably as a team.
The line between workshops and trainings is often fluid. During trainings the focus is more on conveying external knowledge whereas in workshops the target is rather to mutualize the knowledge of participants to learn from each other and cooperatively find a common ground and optimal solution for everybody involved. Very often trainings have workshop sessions to foster the transfer of the learnings whereas workshops have training sessions to enrich the discussions with new findings or perspectives.
