Challenge & Target: An international company operates more than 100 regional offices with a wide range of HR departments, varying in size and functionalities. The target of the project is to harmonize and simplify HR work in the regions by implementing standardized HR processes and tools and also increase the satisfaction of internal customers.
Approach & Result: In a first step a data analysis of internal HR documents (job descriptions, requirement profiles, performance management systems, etc.) as well as external sources standard HR processes have been derived and aligned with respective stakeholders and involved HR professionals. In a global query existing HR tools and templates have been collected from the regions and assigned to the defined standard processes. Finally best practices for each sub process have been identified among the collected tools, revised and missing tools and templates have been developed. The final toolkit has been graphically edited and provided to the regional offices. In each process step representatives from the regions have been involved via Skype meetings and feedbacks regarding the project approach and results has been collected.
